I kept noticing Chris Douglas-Roberts’ tattoo on his right arm that he kept tapping before he shot his free throws.
I wonder what his tattoo says? I thought.
I made a mental note to Google “Chris Douglas-Roberts’ tattoo” when I got home, because I knew it had to be Scripture.
And according to the LA Times, it is.
Douglas-Roberts told them that his tattoo is Psalm 37, verses 1 thru 3.
He said he taps it three times before he shoots a free throw, and says it’s helping his free-throw percentage.
Sounds a like a little spiritual OCD, but I totally understand.
I can’t help but say a “praise the Lord” or “bless God” or “He is able” or something every time the Father does something good for me that I recognize — like protecting me and my family from the debris that flew into our windshield today driving down the highway.
And seeing as though Chris Douglas-Roberts has a free-throw percentage of 70.9% – I say tap away and keep your faith in the blessed Kingdom.
