I really feel for Vanessa Bryant. Bloggers really should be nicer and understand that celebrities are still human beings with feeling. Not that that excuses us going off and cursing somebody out -- but you don't mess with a mom and her kids!
And we should have compassion for Vanessa. I mean, she's probably totally in love with Kobe Bryant -- and then to have to endure the public humiliation of infidelity while trying to hold a marriage and family together can't be easy.
Relax, Vanessa Bryant was auditioning for the next Orbit Chewing Gum commercial!…(Dirrtee mouth?)

Ummm…the original blog was in no way derogatory. Vanessa totally overreacted. The fact of the matter is…she did look like an idiot. She is a grown woman sporting a Tutu…she should keep the costumes in the bedroom. I kid. I kid. The bloggers tone was simply stating what Vanessa was wearing in a light joking matter. Ive seen far worse written about her. The question is: What was Vanessa really angry about that night? Find the answer to that question my friend…and you might have yourself a story.
PS I am sure her children hear profanity all the time…as she didnt think twice about using the language. If she doesnt care about her language around her kids…neither do I. There are worse mothers in the world.

vanessa bryant may have over reacted in front of her children, but it was understandable. Miss Lane has no idea what she’s talking about, what does a woman’s education have anything to do with her understanding of ethics. She should be fired in my opinion for being so unprofessional. BTW, if she had any journalism ethics she wouldn’t have leaked the story about Kobe sleeping with the cheerleader. That’s gossip, not journalism.
She needs to get over it. She knows her mans ways and needs to accept it or MOVE THE FUCK ON!!!!

I don’t care what the woman wrote about you. IF you have an ounce of class about yourself then you know that this stuff happens everyday in the life of marriage to a sport personality. She knew that coming in the door.
If you can’t police your man, don’t expect the tabloids to do it. the woman shouldn’t loose her job because a woman was tacky in front of her kids. it just shows said woman needs a couple of parenting class refreshers to show her the way.

I think Laura came of extremely condescending and smug in her blog – i too was a journalism major and they NEVER told us that we were supposed to ‘piss people off’ – that’s ridiculous. i understand her point but the way she put it made her come off like the b**ch that vanessa called her – and Bella, you were right-on in that her mentioning of kobe sleeping with a cheerleader made her whole ‘journalism ethics’ rant null and void. yes, vanessa could have handled it better but then again, laura could have too instead of leaving it up to ESPN to snatch her blog right down – so i guess that pen isn’t as mighty as she thought! lol
if dat was me who vanessa cussed out, i probably would have punched her in da face, while kobe n da kids were watching.
I agree with Joe Bryant being against the wedding. I think Kobe was to young, and still had a lot of growing to do. I said it then and I’ll say it again. I don’t see Kobe being forever committed to Vanessa for life. I think they were to young and immature at the time to marry when they did. I do see Vanessa as a woman who was out to get herself a rich man, she landed Kobe. Kobe’s parents may have felt the same way. Kobe’s going to continue to cheat, because he’s not
completely ready to settle down. He needs to find himself. He came straight from high school to the pros, to marriage and then fatherhood. He hasn’t had time to find himself. He will continue to be a great father, but a husband, it’s not his time yet.
