Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and her twin babies (dad is Michael Nilon) are on the cover of Jet Magazine.

I got my copy of Jet Magazine in the mail today, and when I saw a pic of Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and her gorgeous little twin boys with Michael Nilon – I thought probably what everyone else searching hot and heavy for pics of the 44-year-old Haitian actress did once they heard about the Jet magazine cover pic: Those little boys look white…

So of course, I searched for a pic of Mike Nilon to check out his coloring. It’s the same kind of thing my mom experienced a bit — being a brown-skinned woman (though she was married to a very fair-skinned black man, my dad) with children lighter than her. Strangers would ask if that was her baby.

Of course, it matters not, I just know human curiosity. For a second I asked myself if the babies were adopted, then I remembered that they were not.

Congratulations to Michael and Garcelle on their gorgeous twin babies.
