Prince Paul — the guy from Stetsasonic that made that song “Sally” that I love — is making new hip-hop music for kids.

He talks about his own kids, watching Run’s House and other stuff, refusing to wax too philosophical on the state of hip hop today.

Prince Paul does call some of the packaged hip-hop today not real hip-hop, but more of a derivative of the back-in-the-day consciousness raising stuff.
