Sean LeVert, brother of the late R&B singer Gerald Levert has died at age 39.

According to Cleveland newspapers, the cause of Sean LeVert’s death is unknown at this time.

Powell Caesar — a spokesman for the coroner — reported that an autopsy on Sean LeVert will probably be performed Monday.

Sean LeVert reported died at at Lutheran Hospital at 11:57 p.m.

He was taken from Cuyahoga County Jail’s infirmary — saying he was ill — to the hospital.

Levert was serving a recent 22 month sentence for owing $85,427.68 in child support for his 11-, 15- and 17-year-old children. At the sentencing, Sean did not speak.

What a sad and tragic event for O’Jays singer Eddie LeVert — who earlier lost his son Gerald LeVert at the age of 40 due to mixture of prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
